On Tuesday to the Midas in Kenosha, WI Midas shop on 52nd St. to get an oil change, have my oil changed & have them check my brakes. The manager had me come to look at the brakes and told me that they were "in the red" and I needed new rotors & pads in the rear. I told him that they weren't making noise or anything but I just wanted to have them checked 'cause I haven't had them checked before. He said that new rotors & pads would be $300 out the door.

I had a mechanic at a car dealer take a look to get a price today. Guess what?!? I don't need brakes at all!!! He said that I have about 15,000 left on the rears!

So they were trying to scam a woman that comes in by herself to pay $300 for brakes that she didn't even need, let alone new rotors!

I will never step foot in there again & am reporting them to the BBB.
