I have never heard of a place that won't allow you to buy the parts that need to be installed from another place. They gave m some *** about warranty backing, of parts, and stood behind some *** statement saying it was corporate policy.

I guess it must be corporate policy of Midas to rip off the customer. I bought the spark plugs, and wires needed from Auto Zone, showed the front desk the receipt stating that the parts were backed up by their warranty, and still they said they couldn't use the correct parts that I bought. Seems like they have some kind of contract with a company that overcharges for parts. Then, they charge through the nose for their "labor".

I just heard the floor manager say that they have too many customers and not enough people to do the work.

Maybe they don't have enough people working there because their Mechanics moved on to more honest, and respectable places to work. Don't trust the Midas touch because the only good they make is from what they steel from vulnerable customers.

Gee let's review what should be the obvious .. parts is a part of how they make $ ..

that's why you cant bring your own parts .. how many times have you bought your own steak .. took it to a prime steak house .. and ask them to cook it at a discounted price ..

parts store pricing is for the folks that can do their own work. Common sense is a virtue
