i went to midas for my front brakes in august it cost me 350 dollars then in october my wheels turned black and my brakes start to make a grinding noise when i took it back in he told me i needed new front brakes and rotors and it would cost me 475 when i informed them that they just put new brakes in my truck 2and a 12 months ago and it should still be under warranty they told me to come back in 2 weeks and they would fix it . at which point they told me warranty ran out 2 days ago and i would have to pay full price to have them repaired. So i contacted there corporate office and after about a month of arguing they "fixed" it for 250 now in january the brakes and rotors replaced in dec both went bad again costing me 450 at another repair shop will never go back there again and advise everyone i know to do the same

File a lawsuit in small claims court. Go to the court and ask the sheriff or marshall how to proceed.

The replacement brake parts should perform at least as well as the original equipment and should provide the same or better mileage.
